Before using Booking Manager, ensure your staff have the correct roles and permissions. These authorizations control access to the Booking Engine and determine what actions a user can take within it.
Currently, you must have the Booking Create/Edit authorization in order to access the Booking Engine and manage bookings.
If users need to delete any events or entire bookings created by others, they also need the Booking Delete authorization.
You can choose to add these authorizations to an existing role or create new roles specifically for staff who manage bookings.

Every booking must be tied to a product in the system. Before using Booking Manager, make sure your products are created and active. Products define what type of booking is being offered (such as court rental, birthday party, or private lesson) and control pricing, categories, and online visibility.
Itβs important to know whether a product is flat rate or hourly, because the amount charged to the customer may vary based on that setting.

Booking Options define what can be booked, when, and how. This includes the key settings that determine how your booking structure behaves within the system. Before diving into setup, it helps to understand what decisions you will need to make ahead of time.
There are three main areas within Booking Options that you will configure later:
Basic Settings
Establish the booking name, bookable type, and whether the booking will appear online for customers.Date Ranges, Availabilities, and Fees
Define when your bookings are active and what they cost. These settings allow you to customize hours and pricing for different times of year, such as setting separate summer and winter rates.Additional Settings
Control specific behaviors such as minimum and maximum booking dates, takedown times between reservations, and minimum block size.
It is also important to confirm whether the related product is flat rate or hourly, since that determines how pricing applies once the Booking Option is in use.
Features such as Minimum Duration, Terms and Conditions, and Request Only (Hide Price) may also be helpful to consider when planning your booking setup.
