In some cases you may decide to only give a partial refund to a customer by changing the "Amount on Card" field during the checkout process. In order to do this partial refund, your user profile must have the Partial Payment and Refund/Reversals authorizations.

Team Fee Example:

  1. Go to the invoice that the payment is on.

  2. Select "3 dots" next to team fee to begin reversal.

  3. Proceed to Checkout.

  4. Verify the credit card you want to process the partial refund onto. By default, it will select the card used for the invoice in Step 1. However, any cards that the customer has used within the last year will be available in the dropdown.

  5. Change the "Amount on Card" to the amount you want to refund.

  6. Add a payment note and click Process Checkout when ready.

  7. The remainder will be left as an Account Credit. This can be applied as a new payment towards the team balance or left as a credit on their profile.
