Payments by CardConnect

In order to complete the PCI Compliance, you must have Admin rights in CardPointe. Follow the step by step instructions below if you are an existing CardConnect customer. If you run into any questions along the way, we have partnered with Secure Trust who are the experts in PCI Compliance.

Once you've completed compliance, please make sure you login to CardPointe and confirm that your compliance is set. Please keep in mind, when the PCI compliance is completed with SecureTrust, it takes time (usually 24-48hrs) to update in our Copilot and CardPointe system.

If you have multiple merchant ID's, please submit a support ticket notifying them that you need to link your accounts together or by contacting CardConnect support.

In CardPointe, click Support tab

  • Click Create Ticket

  • Reason field select : PCI Question

  • In the description box enter: "Please Link - DBA Name - MID to DBA Name- MID in Secure Trust for PCI Compliance"

  • Then click Save

Overview

  • What is PCI?
    The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards designed to ensure that ALL companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.

To get to your PCI compliance Portal, supported by Secure Trust:

  1. Login to your Cardpointe Merchant Portal

  2. Using your navigation bar at the top, select My Account

  3. On the account sub tab, find and select the Not Compliant hyperlink to open the Secure Trust Portal.

  4. Select "Guide Me" to be taken through the PCI Wizard.

  5. Select how you are accepting credit cards from your customers.

  6. Advise if you are storing credit card data in any format.

  7. Search for CardConnect, LLC CardSecure P2PE. Select version 1.1 and Click Add.

  8. Select if you are using any additional services for processing cards.

  9. Your PCI profile will summarize your answers thus far. Click Next.

  10. Complete your company profile.

FAQS

Q. How Often does the PCI survey need to be completed?
A. Your PCI compliance is good for a full calendar year from the date of completion.

Q. How can I receive a notification when I need to become compliant again?
A. You can select to receive an email when you become Non-Compliant again from your notification configuration under your Dashboard.

Q. My SAQ type isn’t P2PE, what should I do?
A. To resort your business profile into the right SAQ, select the manage button on your business profile section. Follow the guide above, making sure your correct industry and device type have been entered. If you are still sorted incorrectly, please give our support team a call.
