Using Widgets While Developing Your Website
Why
You may want to test your DaySmart Recreation website widgets while you are still building and designing your company website. Our system needs to know all websites that are attempting to display a widget. Usually this is just your company web address but some third party web development tools like Wix or Wordpress use additional or altered domains while the site is still under development. Wix currently uses an additional gateway domain "fileusr.com". This must be added to your Framing Websites list in your Company Settings. Wordpress uses an altered, IP version of your domain which can be found in the address bar while editing the website. Add this to your Framing Websites. For more information, view the Framing Websites article.

Where
To access the Website Widget page, you can either start typing in "widget" in the global search or from the main drop down menu, under "Admin", you will see "Embed Widgets".
In order to view this page, you must have a role that has the "Company Account Settings" authorization assigned to it.
Types of Widgets
Program Finder
You can customize and build your various Program Finder pages ahead of time, without having to manually insert code yourself from the Company Settings.
Online Booking
You can add a widget to your website to display online availability based on the Booking Options you have set up. This lets the customer browse an availability without having to log in. If they wish to book something, they will then be prompted to log in and finish the reservation process.
In order for this feature to work, you must have the "Online Booking Add-on" feature turned on.
Location Schedules
This widget is customizable in a similar way to the Program Finder widget. You can choose which search filters show up and it will update the embed code based on which toggles are turned on. You can also specify a certain Location, Event Type and date range for it to default to on your website.
