Overview

Managing product inventory efficiently is essential for facility operations. With the appropriate authorization, users can quickly adjust product quantities, set inventory rules, and generate reports to monitor stock levels.

Product Search

If you have the authorization, "Product Management" the Quantity should look like an editable field, complete with the familiar pencil icon. By clicking this field and entering a value, you can rapidly enter and adjust saved quantities of the listed products for your specific facility.

If you edit the quantity settings for a product that does not have a custom settings entry for your current facility, one will be silently created in the background for you. You can always view these custom settings by clicking on the name of a product, and viewing the "Location Settings" tab.

Inventories

Open the Product you are wanting to save a quantity for. Select the "Inventories" tab on the left. Enter your quantity and the location then click "Add". You can enter any positive values up to 10 digits.

Inventory Rules

These rules are only in effect if a product has a quantity set.

The shopping cart will deduct the inventory from the quantity when purchasing. Inventory will be added back to the quantity when reversing the product.

If you try to sell a product that has no amount left you get a notice saying no inventory:

Product Inventories Report

We have a report that can be used to see inventory at a particular location and search for inventory under a particular quantity.
