Once the feature has been turned on, you will notice a new toggle has been added to our Membership product page.

Once this toggle has been turned on, you can add this membership to any Program product such as a class, team, or camp as a required purchase. For example, below, the USA Hockey Verification product has been added to the Adult Hockey Team Fee.

How It Works

On the Admin and customer account online side, when you add a customer to a program that will require a USA Hockey Membership, you will see a prompt once you select to add the USA Hockey membership to the cart.

The next screen will ask you to enter in the Hockey Membership ID in order to proceed.

If a valid membership ID is entered, a green check mark will appear along with the expiration date. Once you hit the continue button, the shopping cart will appear and the customer will be able to proceed to checkout.

Special Note

The expiration of the facility membership on the customer's page will match the USA Hockey membership expiration date. It will not matter what day the transaction in DaySmart Recreation takes place.

Verification

If you need to verify whether a players membership is valid, you can type in the Global Settings box "USA" and you will see the "USA Hockey Membership Lookup" page.

Reporting

All customer's membership ID's can be downloaded by going to the Customer Search and Email page in DaySmart Recreation. In the membership product section, select USA Hockey Verification. Also, check the box to "show membership information". There is a column that will display each customer's ID #. This report can be exported to CSV.

You can also use the Membership Report to pull USA Hockey ID for customers. There is an option to export this report as well.
