📝 Overview
Classifications are fields within a Level’s Classification section that define how the Level is labeled, organized, and filtered across the software. These fields include Sport Type, Age Group, and Skill Level. When creating or editing a Level, you select from predefined classification options that are reused across seasons.

⚽ Sport Type
Sport Type is a field within the Level’s Classification section that defines the primary activity associated with the Level.

How to add or edit a Sport Type from a Level
Begin creating or editing a Level.
In the Sport Type field within the Classification section, select an existing option or add a new one.
Save your changes.
View or manage all Sport Types
You can also view, edit, or create Sport Types from the sport management page.
Use the global search and type sports.
Select Sports from the results to open the Sport management page.
To create a new Sport Type:
Click the "+" button.
Enter the sport name.
Select a Stat Type (if applicable).
Click Save.
To edit an existing Sport Type:
Select the edit option next to the sport name.
Update the name. Changes save automatically.
To inactivate a Sport Type:
Toggle the status to inactive for sports that are no longer needed.

Age Group is a field within the Level’s Classification section that defines the intended participant age range.

Assign an Age Group from a Level
Begin creating or editing a Level.
In the Age Group field within the Classification section, select an existing option or add a new one.
Save your changes.
View or manage all Age Groups
Age Groups can also be managed from the global Age Group management page.
Use the global search and type age group.
Select Age Group Management from the results to open the Age Group management page.
To create a new Age Group:
Click Add.
Enter the Age Group name.
Set the Minimum Age and Maximum Age (if applicable).
Adjust the Order value to control how the age group appears in lists.
Ensure Active is checked.
Save your changes by clicking Submit.
To edit an existing Age Group:
Click the Age Group name you want to update.
Modify the name, age range, or order as needed.
Save your changes by clicking Submit.
To inactivate an Age Group:
Locate the Age Group in the list.
Uncheck Active to make the Age Group unavailable for future use.

Skill Level is a field within the Level’s Classification section that describes the experience or competitiveness of the Level.

Assign a Skill Level from a Level
Begin creating or editing a Level.
In the Skill Level field within the Classification section, select an existing option or add a new one.
Save your changes.
View or manage all Skill Levels
Use the global search and type skill levels.
Select Skill Levels to open the Skill Level management page.
To create a new Skill Level:
Click the "+" button.
Enter the skill level name.
Click Save.
To edit a Skill Level:
Click the skill level name to edit it. Changes save automatically.
Toggle the status to inactive for skill levels that are no longer needed.
To inactivate aSkill Level:
Locate the Skill Level in the list.
Uncheck Active to make the Skill Level unavailable for future use.

Can I delete a classification option from a Level?

No. Sport Type, Age Group, and Skill Level options are selected from predefined lists. You can change which option is selected for a Level, but you cannot delete the classification field itself.
Can I remove a classification option so it no longer appears for new Levels?

Yes, if you have Company Account Settings access, you can inactivate classification options so they are no longer available for selection. Existing Levels will retain their assigned values.
