๐ Overview
Activity Groups are groups of customers within a camp that are grouped together based on a set of characteristics, such as age, gender, or both.
After defining Activity Groups for a camp, customers are assigned to groups under the Default Groups section. Default group assignments can also be changed for specific events. When determining a customerโs group, the software first checks for event-specific grouping. If no event-specific grouping exists, the customer is assigned to their Default Group.
Default Groups can be used to define groups for all sessions within the camp.

Activity Groups are defined at the camp roster level as Default Groups.
Default Groups apply to all sessions unless a specific event has its own group assignment.
When determining a customerโs group:
The software first checks for grouping assigned at the event level.
If no event-specific grouping exists, the customer is placed into their Default Group.
This structure allows group assignments to be reused across sessions while still supporting event-specific changes when needed.

๐ก Pro Tips
๐ง Best for large camps โ Activity Groups are especially helpful when managing camps with high enrollment.
๐ง Plan names ahead โ Group names are limited to 20 characters, so short age ranges or color names work best.
๐ Define before assigning โ Create all groups first to streamline assigning or generating customers.
๐ Rename instead of rebuilding โ If assignments look right but names need tweaking, edit the group name instead of recreating groups.
