Time of Year

Learn how to create, edit, and manage Time of Year options, which are reusable season labels like Spring or Fall. Use the standalone Time of Year Options page or add them directly within Season settings.

🔔 Feature Update as of June 2026: Time of Year options can now be managed from a dedicated standalone page under Programs. This allows you to create, edit, and inactivate options without needing to navigate to a specific season first.


📝 Overview

Time of Year options are reusable labels (e.g., Spring, Summer, Fall) that can be assigned to seasons to help you organize and filter them by a general timeframe. You can manage these options from the dedicated Time of Year Options page, or add them directly within a season's settings.


📍How to Access Time of Year Options

There are two ways to access Time of Year options.

Option 1: Global Search Box

  1. Click the Global Search Box at the top of the page.

  2. Type Time of Year in the search field.

  3. Click Time of Year Options under Programs in the results.

Option 2: Programs Menu

  1. Click the Programs dropdown menu.

  2. Select Time of Year Options at the bottom of the list.

Options

  1. Click the Programs dropdown menu and select Seasons

  2. Or use the global search bar and type Seasons


🛠️ Adding or Editing Time Of Year

There are two ways to add or edit Time of Year options.

Adding a new option:

  1. Click + Add Time of Year.

  2. In the Create Time of Year modal, enter a name in the Name field (e.g., Spring, Summer, Fall).

  3. Click Save new time of year.

✍️ Note: Enter the label exactly as you want it to appear, including capitalization, spelling, and spacing.

Editing an existing option:

  1. Click the edit icon next to the option you want to update.

  2. In the Edit Time of Year modal, update the Name field or toggle Active off to inactivate the option.

  3. Click Save.

✍️ Note: Inactive Time of Year options remain associated with any seasons already using them, but will no longer appear as an option when creating or editing a season.

Steps

  1. From the Season listing page, select the season you want to update.

  2. Scroll to the Details section.

  3. Find the Time Of Year field.

  4. To use an existing label, select it from the dropdown.

  5. To create a new label, click the + icon next to the field.

  6. Click Save to save the season.

💡 Creating a New Time Of Year Label

Make sure to type the label exactly how you want it to display in the software. This includes capitalization, spelling, and spacing.

After typing the new label, you must press Enter to add it to the list of Time Of Year options.


🔎 Where Time Of Year Appears

Time Of Year can appear in multiple places throughout Dash wherever seasons and programs are shown or filtered. Common examples include:

Season List Page (Admin)

  • Displays the Time Of Year column

  • Includes a Filter by Time of Year option on the left side

Program Search Page (Admin)

  • Includes a Filter by Time of Year dropdown in the search filters

Customer Portal

  • Customers can filter programs by Time Of Year

  • Program cards display the assigned Time Of Year label
