📝 Overview
Jersey numbers can be added to team rosters in Dash to help identify and track players throughout the season.
Adding jersey numbers allows:
Referees to quickly verify players during check-in
Staff to match players to stats on game sheets
Leagues to maintain accurate records across all scheduled events
Jersey numbers are stored at the roster level and can automatically populate on game sheets when entered correctly.
📍 Adding a Jersey Number from the Team Roster
Jersey numbers should be entered through the team roster to apply to all games.

Select the appropriate Season and Level.
Click the Team name.
Select the Roster tab.
Locate the player.
Click the three dots next to the player’s name.
Select Edit Player Registration.
Enter the Jersey Number.
Click Save.
✍️ Note: The jersey number will now display on the roster and carry over to all game sheets for that team.
📅 Entering a Jersey Number from a Game Sheet (Single Game Only)
Jersey numbers can also be entered from within an individual game event. This method only applies the number to that specific game.
Click the arrow to enter a jersey number from a game sheet

Navigate to the Calendar.
Select the specific Game Event.
Click Game Sheet.
Check the box for Enter scores/stats.
Locate the player in the roster list.
Check the open box next to their name.
Enter the jersey number in the # column.
Click Save Stats.
✍️ Note: This jersey number will only be saved for that specific game event.
When to Use Game-Specific Jersey Numbers
Some teams change jersey numbers for each game. In this situation, you would not store a jersey number on the team roster page.
Instead, enter the player’s jersey number directly on the game sheet for each game.
This can be helpful when:
Reviewing cards issued during a game
Tracking goals scored
Verifying stats after the event
As long as the referee records the correct jersey numbers on the game sheet, the information will remain tied to that specific event for historical reference.
🔎 How Jersey Numbers Are Saved

Jersey numbers entered from the Team Roster are saved to the player’s registration and apply to all scheduled games.
Jersey numbers entered from a Game Sheet apply only to that single event.
Customers are not prompted to enter a jersey number during online registration through the Customer Portal.
Customers cannot add or edit jersey numbers after registration from the Customer Portal.
✍️ Note: For consistent tracking across the season, jersey numbers should always be entered from the team roster page.
