Apple Pay and Google Pay are digital wallet payment methods that allow customers to complete purchases using payment details securely stored on their device. Once Stripe has been configured, Apple Pay and Google Pay are enabled automatically, so no additional setup is required.
This feature is available to facilities using Stripe as their payment processor. Customers using a supported device and browser will automatically see Apple Pay or Google Pay as a payment option at checkout.

When customers reach the checkout page in the Customer Portal, they can select a payment method from the available options. Depending on their device and browser, they'll see either Apple Pay (on iPhone/iPad with Safari) or Google Pay (on Android with Chrome) alongside the standard credit/debit card option.
After selecting their preferred payment method, they'll click Checkout, and a confirmation pop-up will then appear securely on their device to complete the payment.

Check that Apple Pay is set up correctly
If Apple Pay isn't available at checkout, ask your customer to check the following:
Use a compatible Apple device. Apple Pay is available on supported iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
Open the checkout in a supported browser. On iPhone and iPad, Apple Pay is supported in Safari. If your customer is using a different browser, ask them to switch to Safari and try again.
Make sure Apple Pay is set up. Open the Wallet app and confirm that Apple Pay has been configured on the device.
Add an eligible payment card. Verify that at least one supported credit or debit card has been added to Apple Wallet.
Sign in with the correct Apple Account. Ensure the customer is signed in to the Apple Account associated with their Apple Wallet and payment cards.
Return to checkout and refresh the page. After confirming the steps above, refresh the checkout page or start the checkout process again. The Apple Pay option should now appear if the device and browser are supported.
