Hardware
You can use pretty much use any web cam for taking customer profile pictures. Currently, Logitech cameras are recommended. Install the camera as recommended by the manufacturer and test that it is working before using.
Requirements
No software is required to take pictures but you must have an up to date web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or IE 10+). If using a mobile device, Chrome or Safari should be used.
Taking Pictures (on PC)
Go to the customer profile you are taking a picture for and click the user image or the customer's picture to begin.
A box will appear on your screen. If this is your first time taking a picture, you may see a warning asking to access your camera. Click "Allow".
Your camera will then show a picture inside the box. Click "Capture" when you are ready.
Click "Upload". The webpage should now show the customers picture in their profile page.
