📝 Overview
A Customer Player Card in Dash is a physical or virtual card linked to a customer’s profile using a unique Card ID number (for example, CID1000001).
When scanned or entered, the system instantly opens that customer’s profile for quick check-ins, membership validation, and access control.
Although the software labels certain areas as “Player Card” (such as on the Customer Profile page and in the Player Card Designer), the feature itself is the same system function: linking a physical or digital card to a customer profile.
Facilities may choose to issue physical cards, rely on digital cards in the Customer Portal, or use both.

Before you begin designing or printing cards, confirm your printing setup in Company Settings:
Navigate to Company Settings.
Scroll to the Customer Settings section.
Under Member Card Type, use the drop-down menu to select your preferred printing method:
Member Card – Print cards directly through Dash using the built-in Player Card Designer.
JollyPrint Member Card – Use the optional JollyPrint external integration for advanced or bulk printing.
The page automatically saves your selection once it is changed.
💡 If “Member Card” is selected, your facility will use Dash’s built-in design and printing tools to manage and produce Customer Player Cards.
📣 Using JollyPrint is optional. You can continue to print in-house using your own card printer, or integrate JollyPrint for batch printing and advanced layouts.
📍 Assigning and Linking Card IDs

Open the Customer Profile.
Locate the Card ID field near the middle of the profile form.
Enter a unique card number (for example, CID1000001).
Always include the CID prefix.
The prefix tells Dash that the barcode is a Customer ID, not a product UPC.
Start numbering at a higher number (for example, 1000001) to ensure card IDs do not conflict with existing Customer ID numbers in Dash.
Click Save.
If using a barcode scanner, configure it to send an Enter/Return keystroke after each scan (often called “Add CR Suffix”).
Test by scanning or typing the card number from a non-entry page. The correct profile should appear instantly.
💡 Tip: Keep a record of assigned card numbers so they are never reused accidentally.
