Overview

Dashlets are the metrics that you can display on the Dashboard page. This includes different sales reports, registration numbers and more. All of which are found in the list below, along with some use cases.


How to Add New Dashlets

Dashlets give both employees and facility owners the information they need to run their business more efficiently.
To view the Dashboard, start typing in the main search box "Dashboard".

In order to add new Dashlets, you must have the authorization "Financial Dashboard". By default, this authorization has been assigned to the "System Admin" role.

Click the arrow to learn more

  1. Click the "+ Add Dashlet" button.

  2. Choose your Type of Dashlet (table or graph) that you are interested in.

  3. Column: Choose the location of where this Dashlet will be placed (left to right).

  4. Once you have filled out the remaining fields for the Dashlet you have selected, press Save.

  5. You can now change all settings and names of Dashlets after they are created instead of deleting and re-creating them.

  6. To do this, simply click the 3-dot edit button on the dashlet you wish to change and select Settings. Make your changes and click Save.

How to Edit Dashlets

To edit your Dashlets use the 3-dot button in the corner of the tile to click on the "Settings" option

Types of Dashlets

Click the following arrows to show full descriptions

Uncompleted Tasks

Tasks allow coworkers to give each other assignments. The Uncompleted Tasks Dashlets display your assigned tasks that are still open.

Season Performance with Pie Chart

This Dashlet shows a bar graph of registrations for the past 7 days. As well as Total Revenue, # of classes, and total # of registrations.

If you have denoted the prior season at the Season Maintenance page it will display that season's Total Revenue as well.

Only current seasons are available to create new Dashlets with.

You can also enable Pie Chart view in the Settings for this Dashlet. You can sort the pie chart by Revenue or Registration, and can even set a specific date range.

How It Looks

These Dashlets can be set to display revenue for Today, Yesterday, Month to Date or Year to Date. Revenue is broken down by payment type.* Click on the View More to pull up the Daily Sales & Receipts Report.

*Team/Employee credits are not reported.

Month to Date and Year to Date display last years revenue for the same time period.

Each of the above Dashlets can also display a Pie Chart view of the information.

Revenue by Program

This is the new Dashlet referenced at the beginning of this article.

How It Looks

These dashlets are similar to the ones listed above except they display the revenue brought in by Program Type. The Program type is set on the Product level. For the transactions completed where a program type was not set, they will be combined into the "NA" Program.

Monthly Summary

This Dashlet displays your year over year revenue for your location.

When viewing this graph, the information displayed is the most recent month compared to month of the year PRIOR.

For example: if the current month is January 2023 then the previous month, December 2022, is being compared to December 2021.

Sales Summary Table

This Dashlet displays revenue for Today, Yesterday, and Month to Date. Revenue is broken down into payment type*. Month to Date displays last year's revenue for the same time period. Click on the totals to pull up the Daily Sales & Receipts Report.

*Team/Employee credits are not reported.

System Events

Allows you to see the last 10 User events in DaySmart Recreation.

System Events include:

  • Team/Class/Camp or CSR Emails

  • Employee Login/Logout/Failed login

  • Customer Data Export

  • Data Gateway Access/Failure

Product GL

If your company uses GL codes than this Dashlet will display what percentage of the total monthly revenue each facet is responsible for.

You can hover your cursor above a section to see the exact amount.

Program Registration

This Dashlet displays the 10 latest customers to register on a roster. You can choose what type of registrations to display.
