Overview

In some cases, the initial link from the Learn to Skate platform and DaySmart Rec may have not worked and you would like to unlink the customer and re set the membership up again. An example of why you may need to do this is if the parent accidentally liked their profile or the wrong child. In order to do this, you must delete or unlink the membership they currently have in the system.

How

The staff member must have the "Delete Membership authorization attached to their User role in order to unlink the Learn to Skate membership.

Pending Status

If a customer's membership is in the "pending status" and has not fully been linked to DaySmart Recreation, you can click on the "Delete" button. A text box will appear to confirm if you really want to permanently delete the membership.

Active Status

In the case where a customer's membership has already been linked (DaySmart Recreation and Learn to Skate), there are a couple steps that need to be done in order to disconnect the relationship.

  1. From the DaySmart Admin side, go to the customer profile where you need to unlink the membership from. If it says "Active" or "Expired" we will need to first unlink the membership from DaySmart, Click on the "Delete" button. A text box will appear to confirm if you really want to permanently delete the membership.
