Overview

We have updated our event creation to allow for multiple event series to be added on the same screen. You can even carry over the data you want from series to series, saving even more time. To avoid clutter on the event page, we have added collapsible sections to some areas that may not be used for every event (Setup/Takedown, Custom forms, or Fees).

How It Looks

The initial process of creating an event has not changed. You first will need to select the Event Type. What appears next is depending on the event type settings. The new piece is once you have your initial event screen filled out, there are some new options upon saving:

  • Save: Pressing "Save" will simply create the event you are currently working on and redirect you to the event page.

  • Save and Create New Event: This button save the event or series you are on and the brings up the event type selector again to create another event. There will not be any fields pre popluated in this case but you will see the event or series you just saved on the top of your screen highlighted in green.

  • Save and Create Similar Event: After choosing this option from the original event creation, a new modal will appear that allows you to make some changes up front. This includes changing the Location, resource, start time, and the duration. The changes made here will update the next event(s) you are planning to create.
