Feature Update as of 6/5/24: Added the ability to edit description for an event series. Click on this link to learn more about this change.
Overview
When creating a new event through the calendar, you may have the option to customize the event description or name of the event that appears to the customer. In the case of programs such as classes, camps or per session, or games where a season and roster are attached, this description is added automatically. For custom event types, such as Rentals, blocks, etc the description can be customized and later edited if necessary.
How it Works
Editing Single Event Description
From the calendar page, click on the event you need to update the name/description for. If you can place your cursor inside of the description field, you can edit the name.
Once you have adjusted the name, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and press "Save".

Editing Event Series Description
Here is the update on being able to edit a description for a series of events noted at the beginning of this article.
From the calendar page, click on the event series you need to update the name/description for. If you can place your cursor inside of the description field, you can edit the name.
Once you have adjusted the name, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and press "Save". A dialog box will appear asking if the description change should be applied to all of the events in the series. If you click "OK" the change will be applied to the entire series of events. If you press the "Cancel" button, the description change will only be applied to the single event.
