From the Global Search box, start typing the word "Event Types" until you can select it.
You can also click on "Calendar" in the upper navigation bar to find "Event Types".

Click the “+” button alongside the left sidebar to create a new event type.
Fill out all of the required fields marked with a red triangle along with any other settings you wish to add at this time. Extra help information is provided on fields with a question mark icon. Hover over the icon with your cursor or tap it for more information on the field.
Click “Save New Event Type” to create the new Event Type.
This page shows all currently active Event Types by default. You can view inactive event types by toggling the “Show Inactive Event Types” switch in the left sidebar column.

To view settings for any of the event types, click on an event type to open the settings tab. You will see two tabs available on the left hand side, “Settings” and “Booking Event Settings”.
Click an event type to view and edit its settings. Changes save automatically—no need to manually save. For additional help, hover over or tap the question mark icons.
Options
Assign Primary Customer – Allows you to designate a customer as the event owner during creation or editing.
Enable Home Team – Lets you assign a "Home" team roster (useful for classes, camps, practices, etc.).
Enable Away Team – Allows you to assign an "Away" team roster, making the event a game.
Allow Invoicing & Rentals – Enables invoicing for events and allows event types to be used in the booking manager.
Publish Events Online by Default – Sets events to be automatically published unless manually changed.
Send Email/SMS Reminders – Automatically notifies registered participants via email or text.
Enable Event Roster – Lets you add individual customers to an event directly in the calendar and charge them via a "registration product."
Display Private Events on Facility Schedule – Ensures private events appear on schedule displays.
Assign Locker Rooms – Allows locker room assignments to be added to events.
Charge for Setup Time – Includes setup time in automatic fee calculations for bookings.
Charge for Takedown Time – Includes takedown time in automatic fee calculations for bookings.
Booking Event Settings

These settings are specific to using this event type within a booking. You can add fees to be applied to the booking for this event type along with setting a contract and terms and conditions used for the booked event.
Contract: If you begin to type the word "contract", you will see the available Jasper "Booking Contract" to select from.
Terms and Conditions: Select from any existing Terms and Conditions or create a new one. These will include any special conditions that need to be seen by the customer on their contract for this specific Event Type.
Additional Event Fee Options: Start typing in event fees that you would like to add to the event. An example for this may be a Fall Promo or a Competitive Upgrade.
