Kitchen Display

The kitchen display will allow your cooks to easily shift through orders and keep track of progress on orders. There are three parts of the kitchen display including current orders, recent orders, and a host page. These pages are designed to ease each stage of the ordering process to deliver the food efficiently.

You can access the kitchen display from the restaurant pos. This will automatically open the display to the current orders in the queue:

Order display

The order will show all restaurant items and any differences/modifications from the original ingredients. We have each modification color-coordinated to allow for the cook to easily see what to do:

- Red –removal from ingredients

- Green – addition from ingredients

- Yellow – modification of ingredient

- Blue – note for the item

On the order display, it will show everything related to the order including the time it is due, the order number, delivery locations, customer, take-out, and notes. You will also be able to print the receipt for the order on any of the given pages.

Current orders

The current orders display will show all orders ready for the kitchen or what the kitchen is currently working on. This screen will allow the cook to start progress on orders and flag them as done for the host to deliver.

Orders will show in the display 45 minutes before they are scheduled to be due by default but is configurable within the restaurant settings.

Host

This screen is designed for the hosts to see what orders are ready to be delivered. The same order display shows here for the host to confirm everything looks correct and where to deliver it. Once they deliver the order, they can easily make it as delivered and the order will be removed from the page.

Recent

The recent page will show any orders that were completed within the last four hours. This allows for the ability to send the order back to the kitchen if it was moved by mistake or there is an issue wrong with the order. After clicking “Send back” the order will instantly display on the current page in the kitchen.
