Overview
It is important that when you invite a friend to join a program that the recipient knows how long they have to get registered so they don't miss their window. If they try anyways, we need to tell them why they can no longer register. We didn't forget about the Member App. We have updated the messaging on there as well to be more consistent to avoid confusion for our customers.
How it Looks
Here are the changes we have made:
Warning for Admins: When a user sends an invitation email and online registration is closed, a warning message will now appear on the admin side. This will help avoid confusion and ensure that the registration process runs smoothly.
Dates for Registration: The invitation email now includes the dates when online registration will be open. This will help users know when they can expect to register and plan accordingly.
In the member app, we have also made some changes to improve the registration experience:
Registration Status Messaging: Customers will now be informed about the online registration status before filling out all information and clicking the register button. A message will display on the activity registration page to let customers know that registration is not open yet or is closed. This will help avoid frustration and confusion.
Removed Register Button: If online registration is closed, the register button will no longer appear. This will make it clear to users that they cannot register at that time.
Removed Social Media Links: If online registration is closed, social media links will also be removed. This will avoid confusion and ensure that users are not directed to irrelevant pages.
Removed Invite Others Option: If online registration is closed, the option to "invite others" will also be removed. This will avoid confusion and ensure that users are not directed to an irrelevant page.
