๐ Overview
GIS (Geographic Information System) Mapping allows you to define geographic zone boundaries to identify resident and non-resident customers. Once zones are established, the system automatically determines a customer's residency status based on their address and applies the appropriate pricing at the time of registration.
๐ Looking to import boundary files instead of drawing zones manually?
If your organization uses boundary files in KML or KMZ format, they can be imported directly rather than drawn by hand.

โ ๏ธ Important Note: Existing customer accounts are not automatically updated when new resident GIS zones are created. Residency status is only determined when a customer profile is created or edited. If you need all existing customer accounts updated to reflect new zone boundaries, contact our support team to request a residency status refresh.
