📝 Overview

This article explains how to manage existing leagues using three related tools within the software:

  • Team Builder: Quickly create or reorganize teams within a level or season.

  • Individual Roster Export: Move a single team’s roster to a new season or level while keeping control of player carryover and fees.

  • League Builder: Rebuild or modify entire leagues across multiple teams and levels for future seasons.

Each tool offers a different way to reuse existing setups, saving time when managing ongoing leagues or seasonal transitions.

🛠️ Team Builder

Team Builder allows staff to transfer players between teams within the same league or level. It’s especially useful for balancing rosters or moving players who registered under the wrong team. All player data and payment history move automatically with each transfer.

How It Works

  1. Navigate to Programs > Team Builder or use the global search by typing in "Team Builder".

  2. Select a Season and Level from the dropdown menus.

  3. Click Fields to choose which player data you want displayed (this can include age, DOB, gender, and custom registration form fields).

  4. Choose the two teams you want to transfer players between.

  5. Select the player(s) you wish to move by checking the box next to their name.

  6. Click the directional arrow ( » or « ) to transfer the selected players to the other team.

    • The players move immediately, along with any payments that have already been made.

💡 Tip: You can click on a column to sort the data by a specific field.

🧩 Individual Roster Export

The Individual Roster Export tool lets you move a single team to a new season or level. You can choose whether to retain the same roster of players and select which fee structure applies (the original setup or the new season configuration).

How It Works

  1. From the Roster page, click the three vertical dots next to the roster name.

  2. Select Export Roster.

  3. On the export page, choose:

    • Facility

    • Season

    • Level

  4. Review the Fee Summary section.

    • Keep the current fee structure or select a new one to match the updated season.

    • For example, if the prior season was 7 games but the new one is 12 games, adjust the rate accordingly.

  5. Decide whether to retain the same customers from the previous roster:

    • Checked: Keep existing players.

    • ⬜️ Unchecked: Create an empty roster.

  6. Click Export to complete the process.

⚙️ League Builder

League Builder helps staff move full teams between divisions or levels within the same season. It’s ideal for adjusting competition levels or rebalancing leagues once registration is underway.

  4. Check the box next to the team(s) you want to move.

  5. Click the directional arrow ( » or « ) to choose which direction the team should move.

💡 Pro Tips

  • ⚙️ Check setup consistency – Ensure the same season and level are selected across Team Builder and League Builder.

  • 📋 Use naming conventions – Include season or year (for example, “Youth Soccer Spring 2025”) for easy tracking.

  • 🔄 Test with one roster first – Run a single export before rebuilding all leagues to confirm fee and structure accuracy.

  • ⛔️ Avoid duplicates – Each export should target a unique season and level combination.
