Adding Tax Exempt Status to a Customer's Account (Participant)
To add tax exempt status for customers built as a participant:
Pull up the customer's account.
Click on the 3 dots next to tasks.
Click "Add Tax Exempt Status".

Once a customer has been changed to tax exempt status, it will show on the top left of their customer profile.

Adding Tax Exempt Status to an Organization's Account
To add tax exempt status for customers built as an organization:
Pull up the organization's account.
Scroll down to the bottom.
Switch the tax exempt status from "Not Exempt" to "Exempt".
Reporting
Sales Report - Tax Exempt Option
For reporting purposes, there is a checkbox on the Sales Report to allow you to solely show tax exempt sales.
